Meeting called to order @ 7:00pm

Attendance: 12 members + 1 new member who signed up at this meeting.

Topics discussed at this months meeting included:

• Secretary’s report read and accepted.

• Treasurer’s Report Read and Accepted.

• As of December 31, 2008 SVTR had 113 members and 112 registered machines.  The counts reset to zero on January 1, 2009.

• Webmasters Report read.

• Vice President’s Report Read

• Presidents Report:

• SVTR will require a photo copy of machine registrations when signing up this year.

• VASA Photo contest winners:  Drew Renter won first place in the Friends & Family category.  Jim Link took first place in the Places & Nature category.  Drew also won an award for Administrative Member of the Year.

• Nothing has been done on T-Shirts yet.

• SVTR is activly looking for any members that would be interested in taking on the role of SVTR Public Relations representitive.  If you would like to help spread the word about our club, please contact Lloyd.

• Officer Nominations:

• No nominations – current officers will remain in their positions.

As of the close of this meeting 4 existing members had signed up for 2009 and a number of others took the necessary sign up paperwork to fill out for the next meeting.

Member appreciation Day 2008.

This months meeting was also an opportunity to show our appreciation to our members.  Everyone brought some food and drinks and we ended up with a nice buffet.

• VASA Annual meeting and Board of Directors meeting – Jan 10th.  Voting vor Vice President and Treasure positions.  Come represent our club!

• VASA Membership: 2640

• VASA Maps will not be ready until January.

• 2009 VASA Stickers available – Stickers are green this year.

• 21 VASA Clubs

• Yankee sportsman classic at the Robert E. Miller Expo Center Fairgrounds in Essex Junction.  Polaris and CanAm will be attending.  Jan 16,17,18.  VASA is looking for help on 16,18 – Contact Lloyd Church for more info.

• Vermont Farm Show Jan 26,27,28 at the B.O.R. Auditorium in Barre VT.

• VASA State Day in the card room at the Capitol Building – Feb 2009 – Date to be determined.  Come help us Promote VASA.

• Old Business:

• T-Shirts – still investigating vendors and pricing.

• Letter from Virginia Milkey thanking SVTR for donations to BEEC and Habitat for Humanity read.

• SVTR Donation letter read.

• Next meeting will be Jan 15th (weather permitting).  We will be voting for club President and Treasurer.

• No new business was raised.

• 50/50 Raffle tickets sold.  The winnings totalled $35.  Winning ticket #991049
