Important VT Recreation survey

Hello SVTR friends and members,

Please see the following important message from the VASA office:

The Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation is looking for input to update the SCORP. SCORP is Vermont’s Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. It needs to be updated every 5 years so that Vermont can still be eligible to receive federal Land and Water Conservation funds as well as the Recreational Trails Program (RTP)- which you all know we rely heavily on. It is extremely important that motorized recreation has a voice in these updates. There is one public meeting left- it will take place on Tuesday, August 27 from 6-8 pm at the Thatcher Brook School Gymnasium in Waterbury. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please take the online survey. It is just so important for ATVers to have input.
