Hello SVTR friends and members-
Ray Leeman and Bill Ortlieb will be holding a work party on Saturday, June 29.
Tools for the day will be: Weed whackers, Loppers, Chain saw, Rakes and Shovels.
Ray will be leading a crew working on maintenance of Trail 1 and other areas- Brush cutting, weed whacking etc.
I will be leading a crew working on a one mile stretch of new trail between trail 1 and trail 6 running along Joy Brook. We will be cutting trees and brush as well as digging water bars and shaping the trail.
As usual, meet at the Joy Brook trail head at 9 am. Bring drinks and a lunch or visit either of our destinations, the Stuffed Bun or the Dam Diner, for lunch.
