This Thursday evening Jan. 21, 2010 At the Newbrook Fire Station in Newfane Vt. at 7:00 pm. is our next SVTR club meeting.This is an important meeting as we have 2 positions up for re-election.<\/p>\n
( This meeting will be held weather permitting. Change of weather date is to be our February 18th meeting. )<\/p>\n
Vice President and Secretary are the 2 positions.<\/p>\n
The duties of Secretary are: To pass around a sign in sheet, take meeting minutes, give a report of the past meeting minutes, and turn in a typed copy to the President for files.<\/p>\n
If anyone is interested in running for this position please let me know.<\/p>\n
After talking with Ray Leeman our present Secretary last night, Ray will seek re-election.<\/p>\n
The duties of Vice President are: To be our alternate representative on the VASA Board of Directors ( which means that if the President can’t make that once a month meeting they will if they can. ). Also their job is to attend the VASA Trails Committee meeting, submit any applications for trail project reimbursements and make a report to be given at the following SVTR club meeting, and also conduct the SVTR club meeting if the President is unable to.<\/p>\n
After talking with Ed Smith our present Vice President last night, Ed has decided not to run for re-election.<\/p>\n
This position must be filled and we need someone to step up.<\/p>\n
I know I keep asking, and asking for more from all of you but this position is extremely important if we are to continue as a successful club.<\/p>\n
