{"id":191,"date":"2008-12-18T20:38:12","date_gmt":"2008-12-19T01:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/svtr.net\/?p=191"},"modified":"2011-04-21T09:42:05","modified_gmt":"2011-04-21T13:42:05","slug":"dec-2008-meeting-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/svtr.net\/?p=191","title":{"rendered":"December 18, 2008 Meeting Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Member appreciation Day 2008.<\/p>\n<p>This months meeting was also an opportunity to show our appreciation to our members.\u00a0 Everyone brought some food and drinks and we ended up with a nice buffet.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting started at 7:15pm<\/p>\n<p>Attendance: 12 members.<\/p>\n<p>Topics discussed at the meeting included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secretary&#8217;s report read and accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Treasurer&#8217;s\u00a0 report read and accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>President&#8217;s report:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>VASA Annual meeting and Board of Directors meeting &#8211; Jan 10th.\u00a0 Voting vor Vice President and Treasure positions.\u00a0 Come represent our club!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li> VASA Membership: 2640<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li> VASA Maps will not be ready until January.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li> 2009 VASA Stickers available &#8211; Stickers are green this year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li> 21 VASA Clubs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li> Yankee sportsman classic at the Robert E. Miller Expo Center Fairgrounds in Essex Junction.\u00a0 Polaris and CanAm will be attending.\u00a0 Jan 16,17,18.\u00a0 VASA is looking for help on 16,18 &#8211; Contact Lloyd Church for more info.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>Vermont Farm Show Jan 26,27,28 at the B.O.R. Auditorium in Barre VT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>VASA State Day in the card room at the Capitol Building &#8211; Feb 2009 &#8211; Date to be determined.\u00a0 Come help us Promote VASA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Old Business:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>T-Shirts &#8211; still investigating vendors and pricing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>Letter from Virginia Milkey thanking SVTR for donations to BEEC and Habitat for Humanity read.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>SVTR Donation letter read.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\n<li>Next meeting will be Jan 15th (weather permitting).\u00a0 We will be voting for club President and Treasurer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>No new business was raised.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>50\/50 Raffle tickets sold.\u00a0 The winnings totalled $35.\u00a0 Winning ticket #991049<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meeting ended 8:01 and the meal began&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone that brought food and drinks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Member appreciation Day 2008.
